- Seasonal Color: The foliage transitions from bright green in spring and summer to yellow in autumn.
Fruit:
- Fruit: Small, inconspicuous capsules contain numerous tiny seeds. These are not significant for ornamental value.
Form and Size:

Growing Conditions:
- Climate: Thrives in temperate to subtropical climates and is suitable for various regions in Australia. It can tolerate light frosts and some coastal conditions.

- Accent Plant: Can be used as a focal point in large landscapes or as part of a mixed border.
Maintenance:

- Fertilizing: Apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring to promote healthy growth and vibrant foliage color.
- Pests and Diseases: Monitor for common pests such as aphids, caterpillars, and borers. Maintain good air circulation to prevent fungal diseases such as willow blight.
Notes:
- Hardiness: Hardy in USDA zones 4-9. In cooler regions of Australia, provide protection from severe frost to prevent damage to young shoots.
- Companion Plants: Pair with other moisture-loving plants such as irises and hostas to create a harmonious and visually appealing garden.
- Propagation: Propagate by softwood cuttings in late spring or early summer, or by hardwood cuttings in late autumn to winter
